Together, they bring decades of hands-on experience in oilfield services, construction, and other field-service industries, paired with a deep knowledge of enterprise software and cloud platforms. Leadership

JASON WEBSTER, CEO

As President & Chief Executive Officer, Jason leads the company’s strategy and operations, delivering business-critical software across multiple business verticals. With almost 25 years of experience in technology, consulting, and management, Jason brings a unique depth and breadth of experience to his role as President & CEO. Prior to Spira Software, Jason held various leadership roles in software delivery and support, consulting, and business development for other companies in our sector. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

TODD CORBETT, COO

As Chief Operating Officer, Todd’s responsibility at Spira Software include managing the development and delivery of our product as well as delivery of product solutions through implementations and consulting engagements. Since joining Spira in 2005, Todd has contributed to all areas of the company and held responsibility for numerous customer implementations. Prior to his current position, Todd’s roles at Spira have spanned all functional areas, including development, training, implementation, quality assurance, and product management. Told holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Calgary.

MICHAEL STADEL, CTO

As Chief Technology Officer, Mike leads the vision, strategy, and development of the company’s software platform. With over 20 years of experience in software design, development, and implementation, Mike has deep expertise in product strategy, digital transformation, and cloud technologies. Prior to joining Spira in 2012, he was a business analyst and senior software developer with a national Canadian media company. Mike holds a Bachelor of Applied Technology, Information Systems from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

RYAN COWAN, VP - REVENUE

As Vice President – Revenue, Ryan leads Spira Software’s go-to-market strategy and revenue organization. With over 15 years of experience in enterprise software, Ryan specializes in scaling teams that deliver complex software and professional services solutions, while adapting those offerings to reach a broader mid-market customer base in existing and new business verticals. With Ryan’s consultative approach and collaborating with executive stakeholders to align technology investments, he has a strong history of driving growth, including generating significant new recurring revenue and expanding SaaS portfolios. Prior to joining Spira Software, Ryan held leadership roles at a global energy software company, focusing on solution strategies, sales execution, and market expansion. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.

Meet Our Board of Directors

GLEN SCOTT, DIRECTOR & CHAIRMAN

As a senior corporate executive, Glen has proven experience, knowledge and oversight in the areas of real estate development, government relations, the health care sector, corporate, commercial, financial and oil and gas matters. Glen recently retired as the head of Katz Group Real Estate Inc. where he oversaw all aspects of real estate development including the multi-billion dollar Ice District development in downtown Edmonton, one of the largest mixed-use projects in North America. Glen has also served as the president of a national group of health care clinics as well as a managing partner in a Calgary based consulting firm. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2006. In addition to acting as the chair of Spira’s Board of Directors, Glen is the director of several private companies in North America and Asia.

With over 20 years of experience in technology, consulting, and account management, Jason brings a unique depth and breadth of experience to his role as President. Jason has oversight and is responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions across the entire organization, including budgeting, management, and staffing and oversees the delivery of product solutions, sales initiatives, and overall client satisfaction in the United States. Prior to Spira, Jason held various leadership roles in software delivery and support, consulting, and business development for other companies in our sector. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

KURT KEMMERLY, DIRECTOR

Kurt Kemmerly brings over 20 years of experience in strategic technology, customer success, and go-to-market leadership to the Spira Software Board of Directors. He has held executive roles at Thomson Reuters, ThoughtTrace, and Agile Upstream, where he was instrumental in scaling SaaS businesses and driving two successful exits. With deep expertise spanning technology, operations, and client engagement, Kurt has built and guided high-performing teams that deliver measurable impact in customer acquisition, adoption, and growth. At Spira, he provides strategic guidance on go-to-market initiatives, enterprise customer success, operational excellence, and thought leadership in applying AI to improve decision-making and customer outcomes.

ROB JEPSON, DIRECTOR

Rob has over 25 years of experience as an officer and director of numerous public and private companies focused in the Canadian oil and gas industry. He has a very hands-on approach with management and has been actively involved in Spira as both an advisor and director for over 10 years. Rob brings an established track record in business development, corporate mergers, acquisitions, growth and exit strategies.

GREG FISHER, DIRECTOR

As the Vice President Finance and CFO of several publicly traded and private companies within the oil and gas industry, Greg has over 25 years of finance and accounting experience. Over that period, he has played a significant role in the start up, growth and exit of several successful entities. His experience involves equity and debt financings, stewarding company growth, both organically and through asset and corporate acquisitions, as well as planning and executing successful exit strategies. Along with being an active director of Spira for 14 years he has also been a customer for many of them.
