Faustino Tobia, the Current Sales Account Manager at Spira, and I have worked at Spira for too damn long. Just kidding, I have been here since February 2012, or as I like to say, 9 wonderful years.

I was in the finance industry in my earlier years pre-Spira and wanted to apply my technical background and try something new. It took 3awhile as Spira was such a tight-knit group back then (as it is now), so there weren’t a lot of openings coming available. Spira is not just a workplace, it’s my second home.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚?
It’s gotta be the 2 P’s: both the ‘P’eople and the ‘P’roduct make it excellent to work here at Spira HQ! I was able to go to places all over North America and meet interesting people along the way. Seeing our projects cross the finish line as you work with internal and external stakeholders. Knowing that our product has helped companies be more efficient and make better business decisions – being part of that journey is an incredibly rewarding feeling.

If I had to choose one, it would be Spira Beacon because it is easy to use and easy to navigate. Fieldwork is different, people in this space operate million-dollar equipment and the last thing they need is a complex application to be capturing vital information that leads to better business decisions. Spira Beacon takes that stress away and within minutes tickets can be sent instantaneously to HQ.

During the limited nice weather we have in Calgary, I try to maximize going camping and golfing with family and friends.
